Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo to Appear at Various State Wresting Championships on his American Victory Book Tour

March 9, 2010, Phoenix, AZ –Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo embarked on his American Victory book tour earlier this year, to promote his remarkable and inspirational autobiography, American Victory. The tour has proven to be a great success; as a result it has been extended. The expanded tour will not only include appearances at local book stores across the country, Henry will also make appearances at several major state wrestling events.

Henry Cejudo, Olympic Gold Medalist and author of American Victory, had this to say, “ I am very excited about the second leg of my book tour. The book signings will actually take place at various state wrestling events across the country. It is an honor to be a part of these events. It enables me to give back to the wrestling community and to the amazing athletes that are working towards their dream of becoming wrestling champions.”

About the Authors:

Henry Cejudo is a freestyle wrestler who won a gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. At twenty-one years old, he became the youngest American ever to have won an Olympic wrestling gold medal. Henry was born in Los Angeles and currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bill Plaschke has been named the Associated Press Sports Columnist of the year four times. He has been a sports columnist for the Los Angeles Times since 1996 and is a regular panelist on ESPN’S “Around the Horn.” He has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and his work has been featured frequently in The Best American Sports Writing.
